Wife Changing Name

Q: My wife has the same name which name belong to my aunty. I feel ashamed to call her this name. Can I call her some different name?

A: You can call her by a pet name which has a good meaning and the person likes the pet name. Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi wa Sallam) also gave pet names to certain Sahaabah (Radhiyallaahu Anhum). (Tahzeebul Asmaa V1 P25)
