Q: What is the consequence for a Muslim girl who runs away with a Hindu boy, and intends to marry him? And what is the consequence for the family, who set out to kill him after discussions have failed and he refuses to consider reverting to Islam?
A: Obviously, it is a major sin for a Muslim girl to run away with a boy, especially a non Muslim who refuses to revert to Islam. If she marries him while he is in the state of Kufr, that marriage is not valid in Islam. She will be living in sin as long as she is with him; and children born in that wedlock will be illegitimate according to Shari'ah.If this happens in an Islamic country, the family will turn to the Islamic state for help and the matter will be sorted out according to Islamic law. In any other country, if they kill the boy, they will be charged for murder and bring great difficulty upon themselves. They should not kill him. With Du'aa, they must keep on speaking and advising the girl until she comes to her senses, realises her mistake and returns to her home. Do not cut ties with her, but keep on advising her.

May Allah Ta'aala guide her and all Muslims. Aameen.
