Q: If I drink alcohol in a small quantity e.g. just one glass and I feel fine, and it's time for Salaah. If I take a shower am I allowed to pray? And if not what time should I wait to pray?
A: Alcohol in any quantity is totally Haraam, even if it is one drop. If you are sober and in your senses at the time of Namaaz, then you will perform Namaaz. If you are drunk and not in your senses at the time of Namaaz, you will wait until you are sober and know exactly what you are doing. This is one of the evil consequences of consuming alcohol; a drunken person cannot fulfil the important Ibaadat of Salaah on time.
