Q: I have the nisab of zakat but took a loan which was more than my cash on hand. I paid the loan in 3 years. Do I pay Zakat for the last 3 years?
A: Zakaat was not payable during the three years. After paying the loan, if you come under the Nisaab of Zakaat, then Zakaat will be compulsory on you.
