Athaan When Praying Salaah Away from a Musjid

Q: When performing Fard salaah away from masjid, must Adhaan always be called out?

A: Calling out the Adhaan and Iqaamat for a person performing Salaah at home or anywhere else alone is Mustahabb (preferable). This will apply if the Adhaan and the Iqaamat in the locality has already taken place. The reason for this is that the Adhaan and Iqaamat of the locality suffices for all within that area.
