Q: If a woman prays salah in the privacy of her home, is in necessary for her to wear an abaya or will a long burqa till the knees be adequete (she will have on long trousers under the burqa)?
A: This type of dress for salah (long burqa) inside the home is permissible. However, the trouser she wears must not be tight fitting for then her salaah will be makrooh, though still valid.
