Females Visiting Graveyard

Q: Is a female allowed to visit the grave?

A: Once Rasoolullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) saw women attending a funeral, upon which he commented: “These women will not be rewarded.” Likewise, another hadith states: “Allah has cursed women who visit graves.” From these statements we learn that it is not permissible for women to attend funerals or visit the graves. They should make dua for the dead from home.
